The database COLLATION must be set to Latin1_General_CI_AI.
T6 Enterprise User Creation: Ensure that this new T6 user has the attributes described below and that the default language is set to English.
db_owner option. The public option should already be checked by default; if it is not, check it.
USE msdb GRANT SELECT ON msdb.dbo.sysjobs TO your_user_name.
If it is necessary to filter these Jobs, T6 Enterprise provides a parameter that indicates a Database View responsible for filtering specific Jobs. To configure the View, follow the instructions below.
If you select the Windows Authentication option, the credentials used will be the same credentials used to log in to Windows; however, we will need to enable the
Windows Authenticationcomponent in IIS;
To enable the component, press the Windows key and search for "Turn Windows features on or off".
After accessing it, locate Internet Information Services and enable the Windows Authentication component;
If you cannot log in, access the SQL Server Configuration Manager, enable the TCP/IP protocol, and restart the service.
Click the Windows Start menu and search for SQL Server Configuration Manager;
In the left panel, expand the SQL Server Network Configuration option and select Protocols for MSSQLSERVER;
In the left panel, select the SQL Server Services option;
After restarting the service, open SSMS again and try to log in with your user.
If SQL Server Configuration Manager does not appear in the Start menu, it is still on your system — what happens is that in more recent versions of SQL Server, it no longer creates a visible shortcut.
If this happens, you can open SQL Server Configuration Manager directly in Windows:
| SQL Server Version | Command to open |
|---|---|
| SQL Server 2022 | SQLServerManager16.msc |

The browser used must support JavaScript.
When accessing the T6 Enterprise portal for the first time, you will be directed to the login screen. Use the default credentials below to perform the first access:
After the first access, it is highly recommended to change the default admin user password to ensure system security.
After performing the first access to T6 Enterprise, you must create your first application. To do so, follow the steps below:
After performing the first T6 Enterprise installation, you can update your installation to more recent versions of the product, using the same installer used for the initial installation.
Verify that your license is valid for the version you want to update to.
For security reasons, whenever a Portal update is performed, the T6 installer automatically creates a backup of the current portal.
A folder is created by the installer in the same directory where the T6 Portal was initially installed.
The example below shows the naming convention used to uniquely identify a backup directory, created during the update process of a T6 Enterprise installation:
The red part indicates the name of the portal being updated.
The blue part indicates the version number of the original T6 portal installed.
The orange part is the unique identifier number of the original installation, for that version.
NOTE: Before starting the update process, it is always ideal to perform a database backup to prevent any data loss.
To perform the update to version 12.3, verify that you are using the most recent build of version 12.1; this action will prevent possible errors in the database.
Before starting the T6 Enterprise update, it is important to note that the update can only be performed by a user with Administrator access on the operating system.
When running the installer, you will see a brief description of T6 Enterprise on the initial screen. To proceed with the update, click the Next button.

After clicking Update, the installer will display an alert informing that the update process will restart IIS services. Click OK to proceed.
After confirming the IIS restart, the installer will start the update process, indicating the progress through a progress bar and also the update summary, showing the completed steps and those still in progress.
There will also be an update completion screen, indicating that the process finished successfully. Click Finish to complete the T6 Enterprise update process.
A manual update is recommended when it is necessary to restore a database with a lower build than the one installed on the portal.
This frequently occurs in environments with a Production server and a Staging server. In these types of environments, before performing the update on the Production server, T6 Enterprise tests are conducted on the Staging server database.
In this scenario, it is common to perform a backup of the Production server database and restore it on the Staging server, so that the staging portal will have a higher build than the database.
Once this restoration procedure is complete, the portal may stop working, as there are often structural changes to the database between one build and another. These changes must be applied to the restored database for the T6 Enterprise solution to work correctly.
To restore the database with a lower build and subsequently perform the manual portal update, follow the steps below:
Please note that this update can only be performed when both databases are on the same T6 Enterprise version.
Before uninstalling T6 Enterprise, it is important to note that the uninstallation can only be performed by a user with Administrator access on the operating system.
When running the installer, you will see a brief description of T6 Enterprise on the initial screen. To proceed with the uninstallation, click the Next button.
The next screen will display the available installation types: New installation, Update previous installation, and Remove previous installation.
On the next screen, you will see a list of installed T6 Enterprise portals. Select the portal you wish to uninstall, verify the information displayed, and click Next to proceed.
There will also be an uninstallation confirmation screen, displaying a summary with the information of the selected installation. Verify the information and, if correct, click Remove to start the T6 Enterprise uninstallation process.
On the uninstallation progress screen, a progress bar will be displayed on the screen, indicating the progress of the uninstallation as well as the process summary, showing the completed steps and those still in progress.
→
There will also be an uninstallation completion screen, indicating that the process finished successfully. Click Finish to close the installer.
